What is PACER? PACER, the Post Adoption Center for Education and Research, is a nonprofit, volunteer-run organization established in 1978. It serves the adoption community in the greater San Francisco Bay and Sacramento areas by offering monthly support groups, peer counseling, workshops and seminars, a quarterly newsletter, and referrals to related services.
